How would you describe your style?

I’ve lived in Paris and on the beach in Southern California, and I have a small closet of things that would fit well in one world or the other, but I like mixing them. I think the goal is to portray both at the same time without putting too much thought into it.

Main design influence?

I love Paul Smith’s tendency to stick to good, solid, traditional looks and then lovingly efface them in subtle ways. Now, if only I could afford Paul Smith…

Favorite place to shop? 

The closets of old relatives.
