Professor Morte hosts The Silver Scream Spook Show: a variety act that opens with a unique, theme-appropriate play followed by a classic creature feature or thriller, often a rare 35mm print! Think Pee Wee’s Playhouse meets The Munsters. The accompanying backgrounds, costumes, and props are also unique to each monthly show, which, in addition to stunning costumes and DIY special effects, features dancing and music from our favorite local troupe Blastoff Burlesque. The live show, the film, and the care they take with procuring and presenting both is a labor of love unlike anything you’ve experienced.
